Homemade Pea Soup Recipe | Easy, Comforting Winter Warmer
A classic that just gets better time after time, when it comes to a warming soup to fill you up, then you cannot go wrong with this flavoursome pea soup.

Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- ½ a chopped onion
- 200g of frozen peas
- 300ml of chicken or vegetable stock
- 50ml of double cream
- Mint leaf to serve
- Salt and pepper to season
Preparation Method
- Start by preheating a saucepan over a medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the onion and garlic before frying for 3-4 minutes until the onion has softened.
- When softened, add the frozen peas and stock before bringing to the boil. Reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the double cream and use a blender to blend.
- Season the mixture before serving with the mint leaf.
