Sometimes you just want a kitchen gadget that is simple to use, value for money and does more than one job. This lightweight garlic press fits that perfectly: it has a cherry and olive pitter in the handle, and a notched section which you can use to crack nuts or seafood shells. It isn't suitable for dishwashing so always hand wash it after use. Made from aluminium so it's lightweight but strong. To use it as a pitter: place the cherry or olive in the bowl, stalk end downwards, and squeeze the handles together so the stone is pushed out of the base of the fruit.
