Trusty slicer in white plastic.
A humble tool but it does the trick for me in the Runner Bean season. Especially when we forget to pick them for a few days and they get a bit big. Use it to slice beans really quickly and easily: you simply push beans through the stainless steel blades, one at a time. One of the advantages of this style of slicer is that it's wide enough to cope with even quite large, overgrown beans, and it will cut them into nice thin even sized strips, which cook more quickly than thicker slices. And it's easy to clean in the dishwasher.
